Jerabek LX/XL - Csaba Jerabek from the BTK through F.O. systems to the present day. On 2 December, bassist-composer-writer Csaba Jerabek will recall his 40-year musical career at the A38 Ship. The co-founder of the cult band F.O. System will recall the highlights of his career from F.O. System to MASK and recent compositions at the jubilee concert LX/XL.

On this evening, Csaba Jerabek invites his fellow musicians to a stage to talk about his four-decade musical career, stopping at the most important stages. The cult dark wave icon of the 80s, the F.O. System (Attila Mátyás, Tomi Földi, György Geletey, Csaba Jerabek), the post-dark rock band MASK from the 90s and the experimental punk wave band BTK from the early 80s will perform, with Zsolt Szendrey 'Szasza'. If that wasn't enough, there will also be a surprise performance of some unreleased, fresh musical Jerabek experiments.
Csaba Jerabek is an audio-visual artist, co-founder, bass player, co-composer and a key member of the F.O. System (Fuck Off System), an unavoidable monolith of Hungarian dark wave music, formed in 1986 and one of the most popular bands of the underground music scene of the 80s. The band's powerful, slightly gloomy, psychedelic music and unique lyrics still attract a lot of interest today. Although they disbanded in 1991 after the release of their self-titled album, they have been back on stage for special concerts since 2006, and since last year they have become increasingly active on the Hungarian alternative scene.
After the dissolution of the F.O. System, Csaba Jerabek founded the MASK group in 1991 with his fellow musicians (Richárd Gabrieli, György Geletey, György Lakatos), with whom he released two studio albums during their active period until 1996, entitled MASK (1993) and Madhouse (1995).
And at the beginning, there was BTK between 1982 and 1985, whose previously unreleased songs were finally recorded in 2020 with his fellow musicians (Lujó Molnár, Zoli Vörös, Péter Libertényi, Attila Vörös, Antal Tamási) and released on CD, cassette and vinyl for the fans of the era.

A38 Ship
Converted from a coal-mining ship, the A38 is easily Budapest's most unique concert venue. The belly of the ship has been home to a wide range of live and electronic music for almost 20 years, and when it's full you can feel the rhythmic movement of the partygoers making waves in the Danube. Foreign acts often refer to it afterwards as their favourite club.
