In our modern world, the culture of listening to music has changed. We no longer have the time and/or patience to listen to records, cassettes or CDs. With the proliferation of streaming platforms, listening to conceptually compiled albums has taken a back seat to shuffles, radio stations and algorithm-driven playlists. In addition, algorithms have taken us away from soundscapes that do not necessarily fit the usual recommendations.
