For more than a decade and a half, Zoltán Mága has been holding his New Year's Eve concert to a packed house, which has become one of Europe's biggest New Year's Eve galas. Over the past 15 years, more than 200,000 spectators have attended the concerts at the Papp László Budapest Sport Arena and more than 100 million people around the world have seen the concerts via PBS American Television and Duna Television.
Stars who have performed at Zoltán Mága's gala concert include sixteen-time Grammy winner David Foster, one of the world's greatest music producers and composers, American singer Katharine McPhee, twenty-seven-time Grammy winner Sheléa Frazier, fellow artist Quincy Jones, and world-famous opera star Aida Garifullina, world-famous opera singer Ramón Vargas, two of the greatest violinists of our time, Zakhar Bron and Shlomo Mintz, as well as Hungary's most outstanding Kossuth Prize-winning performers, such as Fecó Balázs, Béla Szakcsi Lakatos, and among the Actors of the Nation, Mari Törőcsik, Irén Psota, István Sztankay, Péter Haumann, who unfortunately can no longer be with us.
Let's welcome the New Year together with Liszt Ferenc Prize-winning violinist Zoltán Mága and his world star guests, as well as the most prestigious Hungarian performers on 1 January 2024 at the Papp László Budapest Sport Arena!
At the New Year's Eve concert, all ticket buyers will receive a Best of CD as a gift, and valuable gifts will be raffled off at the concert.
The New Year's Gala Concert to celebrate the year 2024 will also see the return of the tradition of toasting together!
