THE ROSE

The Rose is a Korean indie rock band consisting of four talented musicians: singer/guitarist Woosung, multi-instrumentalist/vocalist Dojoon, bassist Jaehyeong and drummer Hajoon. Renowned since their formation for their exciting live performances, The Rose has quickly become one of Korea's best-selling bands, releasing critically acclaimed albums that have won the quartet fans worldwide. In 2019, three of the band members took a temporary career break due to mandatory military service, during which time Woosung has enjoyed a successful solo career, released successful albums and toured the world to sold-out crowds.

Much to the delight of die-hard fans, The Rose reunited for one of Woosung's South Korean shows in 2022. This reunion resulted in their album HEAL, inspired by the transformative power of music and the stories shared by their fans and themselves. HEAL peaked at #4 on Billboard's Heatseekers chart, and their HEAL Together world tour has already drawn crowds. Their talents have been rewarded with several awards, including the 2019 International K-Music Awards Most Promising Artist Award and the Band of the Year Award at the 2022 Prêmio K4US.

They started with an inventive new sound, a fusion of rock and pop, and quickly became popular with their impressive live performances. The Rose use a blend of emotions and sounds, blending light and dark elements, capturing the dualistic essence that defines their music, and they place great importance on personal contact with their fans.
