The correspondence between János Arany and Sándor Petőfi is an intimate dialogue between friends, in which everything is included. Private life, politics, money, public life and, of course, the ambitious vision of reforming poetry.
György Ferenczi and the 1-piece Pesti Rackák, the Tükrös Orchestra and two talented graduate students, Vilmos Krasznai and Ágoston Liber, recall perhaps the most important two years of the two young poets' lives, with the penetrating humour of their correspondence.

It's like they're sitting here talking to us. Petőfi and Arany - fire and water, but as the well-known proverb has long said: opposites attract. György Ferenczi has composed music to the poems the poets wrote to each other, while the Petőfi poems found in folk songs are set to the music of the Tükrös Orchestra. The performance will be staged by Dusan Hégli, choreographer and director, and Éva Enyedi, actress and dramaturg, based on a concept by Endre Liber.
