Pikszis Print Marathon
Let's print the pictures!

Schedule
Do you remember that printing is not only possible with machines? Noticing in the middle of the room how special your muddy shoe print is; finding the cocoa marks that look like the Olympic rings under your mug on a clean tablecloth; or getting a stamp (a kiss for example) for not making a mess - all of these are prints of some kind!
In January, the Pikszis Analóg Kör is launching its Print Maraton, a series of workshops, an opportunity to get caught in the act, to look at it from a different angle, to rediscover the graphic artist in you!
We are launching a series of workshops for two age groups, one for younger children (these run on Saturdays at 10am) and one open to anyone over 14 (these run on Saturdays at 2pm). No prior artistic or drawing training is an advantage or disadvantage to taking part - everyone is welcome! We are curious to hear each other's thoughts, insights and experiences of what we can create as individuals and as a community.
We will make monotypes and lino prints (e.g. the classic techniques tried by Picasso), prints on corrugated cardboard, erasers or even milk cartons (an advantage over Picasso: we can create with these things too!), and we will also try specific methods that are both ancient and modern, such as stencil mediation or even making prints from potatoes (Picasso's relationship with potatoes is not known, but I have looked it up and there is a potato variety that bears his name).
The sessions can be visited separately. However, attending as many courses as possible helps to deepen your knowledge of graphic design (because of the variety of techniques and the individual approaches of the different artists).
You don't need to bring your own tools to the sessions, we work with materials provided by us and you can of course take the fruits of your own work home.
