The second act of the official memorial party in honour of Zsolt Palotai, organised by A38. On stage, his closest friends, students, fellow DJs and musicians bid farewell to the DJ King.
Let's remember together the legendary underground DJ, founder of Tilos Radio, the pioneer of bass music in Hungary, the teacher, father, husband, friend, all of us, Zsolt Palotai.
We celebrate all that he gave us: unforgettable parties, inimitable musical experiences, a career spanning three decades, his perseverance and dedication, which had an indisputable impact on the cultural life of Hungary.
Almost every Hungarian DJ and music lover owes something to Zsolt. His outstanding talent, his personality and his groundbreaking musical approach have been a defining moment for both the industry and the public, and his influence will not fade.
He lives on in us, by us, in our hearts and in our music.
A38 Ship
Converted from a coal-mining ship, the A38 is easily Budapest's most unique concert venue. The belly of the ship has been home to a wide range of live and electronic music for almost 20 years, and when it's full you can feel the rhythmic movement of the partygoers making waves in the Danube. Foreign acts often refer to it afterwards as their favourite club.
