Rooted in the soul and funk music of the seventies, playing urban dance music, Kéknyúl is a unique spot on the Hungarian club and festival circuit. Although the band's previous sound was built around the trademark Hammond organ of bandleader-keyboardist Mátyás Premecz, the new album is based on a new concept: eight musicians of equal status weave an exciting musical tapestry with thoroughbred brass solos, cool guitars, lots of vocals and Andy Hefler's passionate, characterful, overtime vocals.
