Formed in late 2017, Doggos effortlessly straddle the line between pop, indie and glam-rock. At their gigs, anything can happen from tight garage riffing to a kitschy power ballad that lasts many minutes.

Doggos

The Pécs band first appeared on the KERET blog's 'Kikeltető' talent show. Since then, they have performed at festivals such as Ördögkatlan, Művészetek Völgye, Pécs University Days, Fekete Zaj and Kolorádó, they have played concerts as guests of Esti Kornél, Margaret Island and Ricsárdgír, and they have three Hungarian Klipszemle nominations and one award behind them.

In 2022, they were included in the initial orchestral sub-programme of the Voice Busy Programme. As part of this, they released their first Hungarian-language composition, entitled Hozzám van szerencséd. The video was followed by the release of Klór in 2023, and then by their first native EP, Agymasszázs.

Castilho (PT)

Pedro Castilho is the synthesizer and backing vocalist of psychedelic rock band Savanna. He emerged at the end of 2017 with his debut single 'Come Back', a soft, melancholic sound that immediately won him critical acclaim in his home country. His second single 'Moving Fast, Moving Slow' was released at the end of 2018 and his third single 'Lucky Ones' in summer 2019, attracting the attention of international music curators.

These singles, along with the two upbeat tracks 'Numbers' and 'Looking for Ways', form the basis of her debut album, Today we'll be the lucky ones, released by US label Pitch & Prose and Portuguese label pontiaq. The nine-song collection is a form-fitting synthpop gem, with richly textured synths and guitars, airy vocals, a tasteful hint of psychedelia and an uplifting vibe courtesy of frontman Pedro Castilho.

Location

A38 Ship

Converted from a coal-mining ship, the A38 is easily Budapest's most unique concert venue. The belly of the ship has been home to a wide range of live and electronic music for almost 20 years, and when it's full you can feel the rhythmic movement of the partygoers making waves in the Danube. Foreign acts often refer to it afterwards as their favourite club.
