Delain
Delain is back! The Dutch symphonic metal band, founded over 20 years ago and with millions of online listeners, exploded back into the scene earlier this year with a new album, Dark Waters, and a renewed line-up. The band will be back in Budapest early next year, playing the Barba Negra Blue Stage on 27 January.

Schedule
The main songwriter of the new album is again Delain's founding keyboardist Martijn Westerholt. Dark Waters could be a milestone in the band's career, as it is the first release to feature returning drummer and guitarist Sander Zoer and Ronald Landa from the 'classic' line-up, while Ludovico Cioffi is on bass and the stunning Diana Leah is on vocals.
Dark Waters follows the 2020 hit Apocalypse & Chill album. The album features Delain's signature symphonic interludes, a reimagined, sophisticated sound, and songs that are as much influenced by film music and pop as they are by the overwhelming heavy metal energy.
Diana's voice is characterised by both delicate melodies and powerful vocals, with Paolo Ribaldini and Marko Hietala (ex-Nightwish) also appearing as guest vocalists on some songs.
