Ozric Tentacles return to A38! One of the most influential bands on the UK festival circuit, Oz Ozantic Tacles have captivated the hearts of local psychedelic music lovers on several occasions over the years, both in festival and club settings.
The Ozric Tentacles' music is a blend of airy ambient and dub, with rare groove and psychedelic progressive rock influences. It is a boundless exploration of music and soul.
The Ozrics have been living the rock and roll band life for over 30 years. The band has gone through several member changes, has created several projects (including Eat Static and Nodens Ictus), has founded its own record label (Dovetail & Stretchy), has released nearly 25 albums, including some chart hits, and has sold millions of albums worldwide. Despite this, the band continues to work with undiminished vigour.
They continue to win fans with their trademark blend of hippie vibes, electronic rave sounds and twisted guitar melodies, complemented by keyboards, midi samplers and groovy bass.
A38 Ship
Converted from a coal-mining ship, the A38 is easily Budapest's most unique concert venue. The belly of the ship has been home to a wide range of live and electronic music for almost 20 years, and when it's full you can feel the rhythmic movement of the partygoers making waves in the Danube. Foreign acts often refer to it afterwards as their favourite club.
