On the 30th anniversary of his career, Ken Ishii will be taking A38 by the stomach with his techo set.
Ken Ishii debuted in 1993 on legendary Belgian techno label R&S Records.
Since then, Ken has been internationally recognised as a pioneer of Japanese techno and a world-class performer, moving crowds around the world with his hard-hitting but hypnotic electronic sound.

When his music isn't shaking the walls, Ken also scores for films, including the theme song and soundtrack to the huge 2000 Japanese hit Whiteout. His influence even extends to video games. The game Rez, for which Ken created exclusive tracks, has become a cult hit.
In 2004, he won the Best Techno DJ award at the Dance Music Awards in Ibiza, underlining his enduring popularity and status as one of the world's hottest DJs. Ken is a regular at major festivals such as Monegros (Spain), WIRE (Japan) and many more.
In 2019, for the first time in 13 years, Ken Ishii released an original album, 'MÖBIUS STRIP', on which he collaborates with Jeff Mills, Dosem and other notable artists.
Ken still spends half of his time performing across Europe, Asia, North and South America in front of thousands of people at some of the world's most iconic venues.

A38 Ship
Converted from a coal-mining ship, the A38 is easily Budapest's most unique concert venue. The belly of the ship has been home to a wide range of live and electronic music for almost 20 years, and when it's full you can feel the rhythmic movement of the partygoers making waves in the Danube. Foreign acts often refer to it afterwards as their favourite club.
