MARK CLARKE (Colosseum) + HEEP FREEDOM & CELEBRATION DAYS - Uriah Heep & Cream show

On March 18, 2023, on the stage of Barba Negra, Mark Clarke (Colosseum) will play Uriah Heep songs on stage for the first time in 50 years. After Colosseum's disbandment, Mark was a member of Uriah Heep between 1971 and 1972, during which time he and Ken Hensley co-wrote one of the band's most successful songs, "The Wizard", for which he also sang a lead vocal part. "The Wizard" is the opening track of the legendary 1972 album "Demons and Wizards". The song "Why" was also written for this record, which was only released as a single, Mark played bass on the track. This very rarely played number will also be performed during the evening, in which Hensley's vocals will be taken over by Mark, this will be a real treat for Heep fans. Mark and Heep Freedom makes sure that the audience is transported straight back to 1972. Perhaps no one in the world can better replicate the sound of Uriah Heep (including Byron's vocals) than Heep Freedom.

The evening will start with a special Cream show, as Mark loves the work of the legendary power trio. He is connected to the band in several ways, he maintained a very good friendship with Jack Bruce and they played music together several times. Celebration Days project will play with Mark on the first half of the night. The project has existed since 2014, its main goal is to authentically recreate the sounds of legendary 60s and 70s bands. The project lineup will be: Tamás Takáts (Karthago) - vocals, János Závodi (Piramis) - guitar, Ferenc Gerdesits (Quimby) - drums, Csaba Bognár (Cry Free) - guitar, Szergej Kaminszki (Cry Free, Heep Freedom) - drums.
