The Rousseauian idea of "back to nature" can easily captivate one. In his view, man is inherently good but corrupted by society. Is it that simple?
The basic setting of the Blue Lagoon is just a starting point for finding our own lagoon, where, unfortunately, all is no longer as idyllic as in the Victorian man's imagination.
