Márton Örs Lukács is a young pianist, composer and music producer currently living in Budapest.

Born in 2000 in Csíkszereda, Romania. He works in jazz, contemporary and electronic music. He started playing the piano at the age of 5 and studied classical music for 12 years at the local art lyceum. From 2019 he will study jazz composition at the Liszt Ferenc Academy of Music, where he will graduate in 2023.

Also this year, he will win first prize at the Langnau Jazz Nights International Piano Competition and second and third prizes at the MJSZ and SLJO composer competitions.

As a member of Ineffable, he plays with Grammy Award-winning pianist Bill Laurance, among others. He has written and orchestrated for the Târgu Mures Philharmonic Orchestra and Radio Big Band Romania, among others.

He will start working on his first solo album in 2021 as a meeting point for jazz and electronic music, which will eventually be released in 2022 under the title "Morph". His second album "Canvas" will be released at the end of 2023.

Joining the live realisation (Márton Lukács Live Set) is Norbert Debreci, a drummer also from Transylvania but based in Budapest, who brings a diverse style to the live-act duo. The improvisation and

experimentation are important elements of the live realisation of the project.

Among the first Live Set concerts, they performed at the Bucharest Jazz Festival 2023.
