Terra Profonda (the Italian word means "deep earth") has been active for twelve (!!) years and has been playing regularly for foreign audiences, especially in the Czech Republic and Germany, with great success. Their music is somewhere between roots blues, folk, chanson and theatre applied music, with a huge penetrating power given by the special instrumentation and Visu's amazingly characterful, almost shamanistic baritone vocals.
