The three members of the 60-year-old legendary Omega band, László Benkő, Tamás Mihály and János Kóbor, have left a big void and are now playing in the celestial orchestra.
To ensure that Omega's legacy is not forgotten, Ferenc Debreczeni, an Omega member and fellow composer for 51 years, has organised a new band called Omega Testamentum. In this way, he wishes to carry on the musical heritage of Omega from concert to concert, ensuring the originality and quality of the production, the specific stylistic features and the performance style.
The "Omega Testamentum" production will perform the music of the original Omega band, with a changing programme.
