MESHUGGAH | AVATAR
Meshuggah: monumental tour in Budapest with Avatar

Schedule
On 7 March, Meshuggah will finally present their latest album in Budapest. The Swedish extreme metal band will start their tour here, which will be even more special thanks to a coincidence, as they will combine it with the Avatar concert, so that with one ticket you will be able to see all the bands of both tours on two stages at Barba Negra.
Meshuggah is preparing for a monumental tour: in spring, the countries that were left out of the previous album launch will finally be added to the continent.
Meshuggah has gained a strong reputation for their innovative, progressive, restless and endlessly creative approach, and has been one of the most innovative bands in metal music for 30 years. The Swedes' ninth album, 2022's Immutable, has continued along this unique path, offering songs that are at once irresistible and highly evocative.
The group is known for their unique draws and legendary performances, and this time the surprising twist is not lost. They will be accompanied by The Halo Effect and Mantar throughout the European tour, but the Budapest stop will feature a special guest: the only venue where they will perform with Avatar!
Avatar's solo tour starts in January, but they will not arrive in the Hungarian capital until spring, on 7 March. This gave Concerto Music, the organisers of the show, the idea to turn the night into a two-stage, double headlining Swedish metal celebration. Avatar, who combine elements of heavy metal and rock 'n roll with a sombre and unbridled energy, will this time be presenting The Great Metal Circus. The first single, Dirt I'm Buried In, is the first single from the band to reach number one on the US Billboard mainstream rock charts.
