I step loudly and the Oktogon echoes

"Are we proud to own the world? And if it is ours, where do we take it? How far can we carry it? If we drop it, will it shatter or bounce back like a rubber ball? But what can I do, here, alone, trapped in such a bubble?"

The play is about the loss of freedom experienced by young people, the loss of coordinates they thought were secure, but that it was during the pandemics that they first really experienced it is now only a memory. The experience, however, transcends itself, plunging the here and now into eternal uncertainty. The authors of the play are the people affected, young people graduating from high school or starting university, who were stopped by the pandemic at perhaps the most important time in their lives, yet who have been enriched by countless spiritual, emotional and mental experiences.

Andrea Pass has directed a performance of these scenes, partly by the authors themselves and partly by professional young actors. Throughout the writing process, the students dug deeper and deeper, sometimes to shuddering heights, sensitively portraying the well-being of their generation. It is a world view that is emerging along a new paradigm, with characters who react with pain to social injustices, gestures that violate human dignity, characters who look out for each other and fragile fates.
