Instead of fried chicken - Sunday Forum Theatre vol. 5 - Everybody depends
Is everyone dependent on something?
It can be:
alcohol, drugs, sex, a machine, a partner, work, play, exercise, eating, smoking, coffee, spending or earning money...
...or gaining or losing money.
But at what point does it become a distraction ... in ourselves? ...and in others? Or are we ourselves or others disturbed by it and it gets us through? But for how long?
And once it has hit our stimulus threshold, is it too late? And whose responsibility is it? Where is the line? What are we really helping with? Who is dependent, who is independent?

If you have similar questions, we welcome you to our monthly workshops, where we bend reality with the tools of forum theatre!
We step out of the usual Sunday lunch table discussions, try to understand each other and ourselves more deeply, and break down the often seemingly impenetrable walls between us.
>>What is forum theatre?
It is a form of participatory theatre in which we can examine conflict situations, even systemic ones, by looking at situations from many different perspectives, trying out scenarios, using not only our minds but also our body's intelligence, instead of trying to convince each other of our own rightness. This method can be an extremely effective tool for the emancipation of subjugated social groups, for empowering them to act in society through drama and theatre.
>>Who are we and what is our purpose?
Our group is a grassroots theatre group. Our aim is to organise sessions that give us the opportunity to try out strategies to create social change for the benefit of our communities through a deeper understanding of situations and each other.
The sessions will be facilitated by Zsuzsa Viczay, drama teacher and social worker, and organised and facilitated by Eszter Balázs and Márton Bodor Balogh.
No theatre experience is necessary to participate!

Se nem foglaltház, se nem romkocsma, de mindenképpen olyan közösségi tér és kultúrgócpont, ami olyan egykori történelmi helyek hagyományát viszi tovább, mint a Kultiplex vagy a West Balkán.
