The third stage of the 2023/24 season of the Okuláré Project is approaching, and our slogan is #KÖZ!

Community. Public Life. Intermediate. Close. Transition. A decision that affects everyone. Emotional void.

Schedule

What the texts of the evening have in common is that they are inspired by the same vocabulary, but they arrive at spaces that connect different endpoints. The field of Start and Prison, fairy tale and reality, Eastern and Western Europe, predestination and free will, witnessed an interplay.

During the evening, three one-act texts, each lasting a quarter of an hour, will be performed in the form of a reading theatre performance, followed by a community text-processing session with the audience, authors, performers and organisers, which is welcome! The texts are, as always, the result of our open, anonymous bi-monthly call for proposals, selected and developed this time with the help of workshop leader Edit Romankovics, a "theatre public worker".

🖊 Imola Bereczk - Staying on track

🖊 Szabolcs Kozma - G+M+B

🖊 Tímea Nagy - Farkasszem

During the evening, you will have the chance to vote for your favourite lyrics, as we will close each performance with an audience vote! You can also get the last few copies of our book with the texts of the previous season! ✨📖✨

The event is free of charge, but we thank you in advance if you support the survival of independent contemporary theatre and the continuous development of the project by buying a support ticket 🎫 Our aim is to provide as many opportunities as possible for new playwrights to showcase their work, get feedback from interested audiences and expand their knowledge and experience.
