Join us for a real house party! Let's reminisce together about Szent István Park, the Ipoly Cinema, the Dagály Spa - the landmarks of our narrower homeland, the XIII. district of Budapest; and the era of Who Knows What, when a young, fledgling band could conjure palm trees on the cobblestones of Váci út.
Twenty years after its premiere, and after hundreds of sold-out performances, we are now bringing back the legendary musical, with the help of our young artists. A generation grown up, but rock and roll is forever!
Length of the performance: 3 hours (including intermission)
József Attila Theatre
The József Attila Theatre is a theatre in Budapest, in the 13th district, at 63 Váci út. In 1955 it became the József Attila Theatre. The building was originally intended to be a house of culture, previously it was used as an operetta theatre by the Déryné Stage and later by the Hungarian People's Army Theatre Chamber Theatre. It became independent in 1956.
