Schedule

The supergroup godfater, formed just over a year ago, will present their newest songs on 17 February, almost a year to the day after their sold-out concert, on the stage of the Akvárium club, bringing the energy and drive expected and accustomed from the band. After their debut concert in June last year, the five-piece Tátrai Tibor-Borlai Gergő-Szebényi Dániel-Gotthárd Mihály-Kéri Sámuel have been filling venues all over the country.

The songs on the band's Fonogram-winning debut album, 0, were recorded live without any revisions - in addition to three of their own songs, the band members have chosen from a wide repertoire of songs from Tibusz's past, including the sweeping "Stand Me Up" by the Scorpion and one of the most beautiful Hungarian ballads, "Don't Love Me" from Gyula Deák Bill's first album. In June 2023, the orchestra was awarded the Artisjus "Popular Music Production of the Year" prize.

"Tibusz", i.e. Tibor Tátrai, the Kossuth and Liszt Prize winner and Artist of Merit, was not only a key member of the Tátrai Band, but also of such epoch-making bands as Generál, Skorpió, Hobo Blues Band, Boom Boom and Magyar Atom. Gergő Borlai is slowly earning the title of a world star, having played on more than half a thousand albums with renowned Hungarian and foreign musicians. The younger generation is also represented by top talents. The singer-keyboardist Dani Szebényi is one of the best voices of his generation, a leading genius, a contributor to more than 200 recordings, and as a composer his songs have been sold more than 100 million times.
