The music of the four-piece Platon Karataev and Дeva, who is known as a solo performer but is joined by an orchestra at his concerts, may at first glance seem to have little overlap, because if we focus on the origin of the songs, they are made with completely different line-ups and instruments. Yet there is much in common between the alternative/art rock group and the soft, ambient electronic music artist: both have beautiful images of nature woven through their work, encouraging the listener to leave the noise of the world behind and escape the everyday and wander spiritually to an ancient land or even to otherworldly places.

In addition, Дeva and Platon Karataev both have a large fan base abroad and have both won numerous international awards. And if all this wasn't enough, both are preparing new songs for 2024, some of which will certainly be heard on stage at Budapest Park on 16 May.

Budapest Park, the biggest and coolest open air concert venue of the city hosts the cream of the crop in foreign and domestic mainstream music every year. At first glance, it might seem like the Park is very much out of town, but this is far from the truth - and since the soundsystem was completely renovated last season, we can only recommend the venue even more.
