What is Wine? A food product? A sacred drink? A cultural product? Or all three? What is the key to the birth of a fine wine? The grape variety itself? The soil? The rock? Or the work of winemaking? What is the relationship between quantity and quality, or how many bunches of grapes to leave on the vine? What extra does the volcanic soil of the Carpathian Basin add to the taste of wine? What is the role of wine in the arts? Why do we buy sourdough bread and aged goat's cheese if we are already committed to drinking fine wines? Let's find the answers together. We can expect a fascinating conversation, as evidenced by the nearly 5,000 guests over the last four years who have socialised at similar wine evenings at Zoli Bácsi's wine clubs.
