Focus on 80's new wave/synthpop (NDW, italo, Hi-NRG) and their modern equivalents (minimal wave/minimal synth, coldwave, darkwave, dark synthpop, darkitalo), plus a bit of postpunk from the 80's and today.

Schedule

Poison Point (FR) and LivingTotem (HU) will perform.

The French audiovisual artist Timothée Gainet, who is also behind the EBM/industrial project IV Horsemen, and his solo production Poison Point, which mixes elements of darkwave, coldwave and postpunk with EBM and industrial influences, is just a notch lighter.

During his prolific career, he has worked with Sydney Valette, Quall, Blind Delon, performed with Adult, Drab Majesty, Xeno & Oaklander, Rendez-Vous, and others, and last year he played a standout show at Leipzig's Wave Gotik Treffen with Paradox Obscur, Die Selektion, Blind Delon and Zanias. His new album is out on 29 March on the great Italian label Avant! Records, and maybe we will hear some of his compositions on his first show in Budapest.

The evening will be opened by Gulyás András András, commonly known as DJ Kraak, a long-time warrior and driving force in the Hungarian industrial/electronic music community, active with Panoramic Barrier, Hadron Lundgren and Fearful Ski Brothers projects, and his LivingTotem formation. With this project, he has proven himself on the stages of renowned festivals such as Schlagstrom in Berlin, BIMfest in Antwerp, Fekete Zaj in Sástó and most recently Hradby Samoty in Bratislava, and in Budapest he has already played live electronica-based shows for heavy industrial/EBM/tribal music lovers at numerous club concerts, from the A38 to Dürer Kert. Now it's our turn.
