Schedule

Boris formed BG+ on the 50th anniversary of the Akvarium band, when the original band had to suspend performances due to the war in Ukraine. Boris is now joined by Konstantin Tumanov on keyboards, Alexander Titov on bass, Liam Bradley and Gleb Grebenshchikov on percussion, Brian Finnegan on flute and Andrei Surotdinov on violin.

The band has been playing concerts since spring 2022 and has already been to Budapest once. The new mini-album, four in number, is unannounced and, after a long period of silence, is Grebenshchikov's first fresh composition: by his own account, he was unable to compose for a long time after the outbreak of the war. The musician condemned the aggression immediately after the outbreak, and the new album is one of the strongest anti-war statements in recent times: the songs are about modern Russia and the war that has been unleashed on it. They will, of course, be joined by old hits.

Location

Akvárium

As they describe themselves, it is Budapest's most frequented venue, which is also multifunctional. Akvárium is great for award ceremonies, afternoon coffees and, most importantly, concerts, thanks to the well-picked, cross-genre selection.
