Kalle Nio (FI): The Green

Given a green stage and a curtain, the latter seems to have a will of its own. All of this comes to life together, and Nio creates and rules, but does he not overpower his creatures? Can we control what we have created?

Kalle Nio will take to the Trafó stage for the third time in spring 2024, having last dazzled audiences with his farewell performance. While there, the moments of a couple's estrangement and break-up are brought to life through various tricks and visual effects, here the stage itself is the protagonist of the performance. It is a constantly changing space, an infinite space of possibilities, where anything can happen, but everything is a game and nothing is real. Or is it?
