Velek Domonkos: contemporary literature evening
In our March chat, we invite Domonkos Velek, "one of the bands of all time", the frontman and (one of) the singer-songwriters of the lowercase holidays. We talk to Domi about the journey from high school gigs to Minifishing or Budapest Park, the unusual line-up of keyboardist as frontman, and the often song-by-song changing band line-up. We ask a bit about the dynamics of drummer rotation and multi-functional roles, and generally everything you need to know about the creation, the songs, and the individual and collective inspirations.

Schedule
"Forty-two - "about music, but not about music"
The lyrics are a bit of a poem, the poem is a bit of a lyric. The literary crumb that most easily enters our everyday lives is the lyrics to our favourite songs. Many beautiful phrases stick in our heads, many apt lines cling to us, which we take with us on the bus, the metro, the tram. Often others say for us what we fail to say. Poetry is a tool, a bridge, a translation of the soul. And the lyrics of a song are actually a poem.
In the context of the Forty-Two Literature Project, we will talk to musicians and songwriters about their lyrics in a literary context, about creative processes, symbols, images, metaphors, self-expression.
