"And we dance again in the Great Hall!"

Moldavian Csángó dance house with dance lessons

Mar
21

Schedule

In addition to Moldavian dance music, known as the heavy metal of folk music, lyrical Csángó songs are also an important part of the concert programme of Tázló. After decades of collecting, researching, teaching and performing, Tázló plays Moldavian folk music freely from the original melodies in a dance-hall setting.

It will be no different here.

A characteristic cavalcade of energetic dance rhythms and lyrical songs will fill the Great Hall of the Dürer Kert this Thursday evening.

Come and let yourself be swept away by the pulse of Moldavian circle dances! The dance is accompanied by live music by the Tázló ensemble with vocals, flute, violin, cobos and drums.

❂ Lídia Draskóczy - violin

❂ Ágnes Enyedi - vocals

❂ Csaba Kiss Sófalvi - flute

❂ László Németh - cobos

❂ Benke Felix - drums

🕺 teaches dancing - Attila Fülöp

Location

Dürer Kert

Dürer Kert, which moved from the City Park to the vicinity of Kopaszi Dam, is one of the hangouts of Budapest's surviving peripheral subcultures, but it's also worth visiting if you just want a perfect garden spot. That is, starting in spring. Until then, let's keep rockin'! And after that, too.
