Cataflamingo
Cataflamingo is an alternative rock quartet from Budapest. Our style, which has won us the recognition of the professional jury at several talent competitions (Kikeltető, Lemming, Peron), is a modern take on the rock music of the 90s and 2000s. After two EPs, we released our first full-length album in 2023, entitled Leaning on the Door, from which the lead single "Nothing Surprising" made it into several Spotify playlists and became our most listened song to date, and was voted Best Rock Album of the Year by telex After. In the summer of 2023 we have already played several major festivals (Kolorado, Valley of Arts, Happy Fisherman Camp, Strand Festival) and Budapest Park. And our autumn was no less busy: we presented our first big headlining party at the Gólya, and we also played on the stage of the Akvárium's Great Hall in front of Platon Karataev.

Bombataz (BE)
Based in Brussels, Bombataz's style is never set in stone. The versatile members of the band mix elements of many musical genres for their songs, such as jazz, funk and synthhop... to end up with a cocktail that is always equally danceable and groovy. Bombataz was formed when conservatory students Vitja Pauwels (guitar, vocals), Hendrik Lasure (keyboards), Ruben De Maesschalck (bass) and Casper Van De Velde (drums) realised that their shared love of music was not limited to jazz, but spanned a wide range of genres. On their debut album, Olympics of Love, released in 2020, the band became a full-fledged pop band. The album was inspired by bands such as Fleetwood Mac, Prince, Ambitious Lovers and Connan Mockasin. On their second album, "Baby Dry My Tears", the Brussels post-jazz pop quartet also embraces eclectic indie rock. They convey the spirit of Animal Collective, MGMT and "groovy funkiness".
Location
A38 Ship
Converted from a coal-mining ship, the A38 is easily Budapest's most unique concert venue. The belly of the ship has been home to a wide range of live and electronic music for almost 20 years, and when it's full you can feel the rhythmic movement of the partygoers making waves in the Danube. Foreign acts often refer to it afterwards as their favourite club.
