Strasse (Bedynski Krisztián & Tálas Achim) exhibition opening
Street photography is becoming more and more popular in Hungary, but only a few people do it at a high level. Street photography is a very difficult job, as you cannot influence your surroundings and stamina is an advantage, it takes a lot of effort and patience to get a good picture. The perception of the industry is controversial and many people do not understand what it is really about.
Everyone is welcome to the opening of the photo exhibition 'Strasse' by Krisztián Bedynski and Achim Tálas at Easy Art Space on 21 March.

Krisztián Bedynski
"In my case, street photography is a rebellion, a therapy, a kind of diary-keeping. It started when I was working with computers and only after work I went out for a walk with a camera. Then I started to get really annoyed by the sunset parliament and chainchain photos that got six hundred likes (laughs) I hate staged photos, so let's go for trash! My aim is mostly to reflect reality. It's very difficult to take a picture that you yourself are happy with. Sometimes you shoot thousands of images on film, then you don't like any of them, and they sit in a shoebox for years without being touched."
Achim Tálas
"In 2015 I started to get attracted to street photography and to try this genre, because the street is always there, nothing needs to be planned, if I have some time I can go right away. At first I walked the streets with a digital rangefinder camera, then I quickly realised that digital wasn't for me and switched to analogue. When I shoot on film, I put a lot more care into a picture and I'm more thorough in post-production, but I'm sick of the "film is slowing me down" bullshit. My most productive period was between 2016 and 2020, unfortunately nowadays most of my time is taken up with dentistry."

EASY Art Space
An EASY option in Buda: for a drink, an exhibition, a DJ set and more recently, film screenings near Nemdebar, 101Bistro and Pingrumba. Széll Kálmán Square is buzzing again, and the aforementioned easy-does-it art space is one of the best examples of this.
