Antares celebrates its fifth birthday on 18 May! Join us for this wonderful journey, which will be a worthy summary of the band's existence so far!

Formed in 2018, Antares is a completely unique combination of a harder style with progressiveness and melodic pop. The four-piece band has won numerous awards and their name is spreading like wildfire in the underground scene. They have been featured on Dalfutár, and have performed with foreign and national stars from trap to metal! This evening summarizes the last 5 years, which you can be a part of!

But who are the bands before us?

Mock Surprise

-is at least as musically diverse as the personalities of its members individually. Formed in 2019, the Oradea-based band's main preference is a fusion of alternative rock and other, vastly different genres; their music is influenced by indie, metal, jazz and prog. They are not particularly fond of the label "teen band", but see it as their mission to break out of this box. They are forever experimenting, trying out new styles of music and never shying away from any creative solution.

Gorg&Benzol

-A semi-instrumental, semi-enjoyable stenk-fusion trio from the Eastern Bloc. They aim to make the audience feel weird and make everyone question their own selves. This they aim to achieve with sharp shifts, stomach-churning harmonies and modulations, and a strict avoidance of compromise. They mix techno with jazz, rock music with jazz, funk with jazz and jazz with jazz.

Location

A38 Ship

Converted from a coal-mining ship, the A38 is easily Budapest's most unique concert venue. The belly of the ship has been home to a wide range of live and electronic music for almost 20 years, and when it's full you can feel the rhythmic movement of the partygoers making waves in the Danube. Foreign acts often refer to it afterwards as their favourite club.
