Berlin-based Curses are known for combining the dark romantic elements of post-punk with the heavy punch of something under the electronic experimental music spectrum. With Dischi's Autunno 2 album, a special edition single for Parisian fashion brand Saint Laurent, and music for campaigns for Calvin Klein, Raf Simons and Dior, Curses brings these records to the stage as a live show duo: Luca Venezia on washed-out guitar and vocals, Dame Bonnet on rolling bass and metallic E-drum percussion. The performance never conveys the old, early Kraut-Rock experimentation and jamming, weaving in and out of the album material.

The Curses have been released on well respected underground labels in the Wave and gothic sonics scene such as Oráculo Records, S.O.I.L and have also featured with artists such as Blind Delon, Jennifer Touch,
The Curses (live) have shared the stage with artists such as Nitzer Ebb, Alessandro Cortisi, Charlotte Adigery, Robert Görl, Tempers, Blind Delon, Zanias, Years of Denial and many others under the umbrella of "Wave" music.
The live show has taken to major clubs and festivals around the world, including headline events such as:
Nuits Sonores (Lyon, France), Ombra festival (Barcelona, Spain), Convenanza (Carcassonne, France), SC&P/Night Terrors (London, UK), Kaputt Club (Bogota, D.C), Berghain Kantine (Berlin), Bar Oriente ( CDMX), Tempio Del Futuro Perduto (Milano, It) and Robot Festival (Bologna, It).
Location
A38 Ship
Converted from a coal-mining ship, the A38 is easily Budapest's most unique concert venue. The belly of the ship has been home to a wide range of live and electronic music for almost 20 years, and when it's full you can feel the rhythmic movement of the partygoers making waves in the Danube. Foreign acts often refer to it afterwards as their favourite club.
