Luciano Biondini, Michel Godard and Lucas Niggli. Biondini hails from Italy, the home of the flowing melodies, Michel Godard is French, while Lucas Niggli lived in Cameroon for years before moving back to Switzerland. On the harmonica and percussion, the tuba and its long-forgotten predecessor, the serpentine bass, which surrounds the player, take on the role of bass, opening up new sonic possibilities for the orchestra. The music of Biondini, Godard and Niggli is poetic, full of ideas and their tension: it seems to filter through to us from the spheres, yet remains sensual and emotional.
