GULU GULU x Tuba Johnson
Published in May “𝗶 𝗴𝗲𝘁 𝗮𝗻𝘅𝗶𝗼𝘂𝘀 𝘄𝗵𝗲𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘀𝘂𝗻 𝗵𝗶𝘁𝘀 𝗺𝘆 𝗲𝘆𝗲𝘀” album, 𝗚𝗨𝗟𝗨 𝗚𝗨𝗟𝗨—currently roaming vast open spaces and dense guitar sounds—is bringing it to their favorite stage in the capital. This time, one of Budapest’s most exciting bands will also be making an appearance: 𝗧𝘂𝗯𝗮 𝗝𝗼𝗵𝗻𝘀𝗼𝗻 tells the story of a fallen beekeeper through the nostalgia of urban noise and early CGI animations.
For years, the Gulu guys spun the discographies of Slowdive, My Bloody Valentine, DIIV, Title Fight, and Whirr before forming their own loud guitar band, while the Tubá guys explored the discographies of Laurie Anderson, DakhaBrakha, John Pork, and Tyler, the Creator before launching their gadget-driven project.
