Soharóza: Soharóza Zenei Játékok
Soharóza Musical Games is a series of workshops for adults who like singing and who would like to try their voices in polyphonic singing, rhythmic games and choir improv. Participants can come to one event or all of them, no commitment required.
Workshops are held by members of Soharóza and other accomplished music pedagogues.
Schedule
You like singing, but
…don’t have time for choir practice?
…were told by your music teacher to shut up in 7th grade?
…you’re worried that your voice is too loud or weird?
…you don’t think you can? (We’ll prove you wrong lol!)
Come and sing with members of Budapest-based experimental choir Soharóza, and with our invited music pedagogues in the workshop of Soharóza Musical Games! In this series of workshops happening monthly in MU Theatre, you are allowed to test your voice freely, along with the invisible musical playground created by us, together. Prior musical training is not required. This is predominantly an cappella event, that is, based on singing voice rather than on instrumental music. We speak Hungarian and English in the course.
