A Burial At Sea is a band originally from Ireland and based in Liverpool, which officially changed its name to newhvn (or new hvn) in early 2026. Along with the name change, they shifted away from their earlier instrumental, brass-heavy post-rock style toward a more vocal-driven sound that blends elements of shoegaze, alternative rock, and grunge.
