ferma - Birthday Bash

Ferma launched a year ago, and we think that’s a good enough reason to throw a party to celebrate!

We’re looking forward to seeing you, whether this is the umpteenth time we’ve met or you’re hearing about us for the first time. This won’t be a typical Ferma tasting, but rather an open birthday party.

There’s no set arrival time, no fixed program. There’ll be an open bar, a short tasting session, coffee cupping, music, and a few other things we’re keeping under wraps for now.

○ OPEN TO ALL

Admission is free; no registration required.

The open bar will feature wines, beers, fermented non-alcoholic beverages, and a few snacks.

○ TASTE SESSION

We can’t let this evening go by without a little group tasting! We’re planning 5 mini Taste Sessions, each lasting 20 minutes, with 6–8 people per session.

One theme, a few glasses, a shared tasting, and conversation. No lectures or required prior knowledge. No pressure—we’ll just taste, ask questions, and see what happens in the glass.

Participation is free, but registration is required. You can sign up online for 3 of the 5 sessions and in person for the other 2. You’ll find a separate registration form for each online session.

We’ll be tasting the same wines at all 5 sessions, so no matter which time slot you choose, you’ll have the same experience. ♡

And if you miss out on the online spots, all is not lost: at 6:50 PM and 7:40 PM, we’ll be hosting two more Taste Sessions, which you can sign up for on-site.

○ COFFEE

A little detour from wine glasses to coffee cups. With Tamás Melis, you can taste different coffees through cupping, and we’ll explore how their character is shaped by origin, variety, and processing method. It’s a bit different from your morning coffee: we’ll pause, smell, taste, and compare.

○ MUSIC + MORE

There’ll be a DJ, music, and a few surprises.

Because, after all, it is a birthday. 🎂

For us, the farm is less and less about what goes into the glass, and more and more about the people who gather around it. We love that you can ask questions even when you don’t know what you “should” ask. That you can learn about something without it turning into a lecture. And sometimes, a drink is just a great excuse to strike up a conversation with someone.
