On August 20, Demjén “Rózsi”—one of the most prolific songwriters and performers in the Hungarian pop music scene, who turns 80 this year—will take the stage at Káptalan Kert.
To mark this milestone year, he will give his 30th exclusive career retrospective concert at the Papp László Arena in December, and in celebration of this, he has agreed to perform a few more special concerts throughout the year in the cities most beloved by the nation.
One of these limited-number performances will be the concert in Pécs, which—in light of the celebration and the long weekend—will also feature an extra program.
Before the concert, we’ll screen the hugely popular film *How Could I Live Without You?*, based on Demjén’s songs, so the evening will truly be more than just a concert.

Information for a hassle-free concert experience:
Doors open at 7:00 p.m.; the concert is expected to begin at 8:00 p.m. and end no later than 11:00 p.m.
The auditorium consists mainly of standing room; there are a limited number of seats, which are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Attendance at the concert is strictly limited; if tickets are sold out, admission will not be possible.
Admission is free for children under 8 years of age when accompanied by an adult family member with a valid ticket.
Admission for young people under 14 years of age is permitted only when accompanied by an adult with a valid ticket.
Consumption of alcoholic beverages by young people under the age of 18 is STRICTLY PROHIBITED throughout the entire Káptalan Kert grounds!
The concert will take place outdoors even in case of rain; please make sure to bring appropriate rain gear if necessary.
For safety reasons, UMBRELLAS ARE NOT ALLOWED!
Admission takes time; please arrive at the entrance at least 45 MINUTES before your scheduled entry time!
Káptalan Street is a permit-only zone, so we recommend arriving on foot, by bike, or via public transportation whenever possible.
For parking, we recommend using the underground garage at Széchenyi Square or the parking areas near Barbakán Square and the Északi Várfalsétány; from there, the venue is about a 5-minute walk away.
Food and beverages are available for purchase at Káptalan Kert, so please do not bring any food with you.
All services at Káptalan Kert accept credit card payments.
Káptalan Kert has restrooms for women and men, located to the right of the stage director and next to the main entrance, which are free to use. Of course, tap water is also available for free in the restrooms.
