In a sense, the story of the white and black swans is the very essence of classical ballet. When Tchaikovsky’s magnificent music is paired with young dancers who have grown up alongside the OPERA ballet company to present the “ballet of all ballets,” it is sure to capture the interest of even the youngest audience members—preschoolers and elementary school students.

The largest indoor complex in Hungarian railway history, a system of vast covered spaces unique in Europe, the Northern Railway Maintenance and Engineering Works was built between 1884 and 1886. After years of alterations and renovations, starting from 2020 it is now home to the Hungarian State Opera’s new logistics and art centre.
