“Kvaterka” is a lovely old Hungarian word that means a friendly get-together over drinks—with good wine and even better conversation.

That’s why our monthly rotating wine selection will now be complemented by matching dishes, which we select together with the winemakers. The highlight of each rotation is the “kvaterka”: an evening when the winemaker dines with us. We’ll talk about the winery, why this particular wine was paired with your dish, and whether it truly “speaks” to the grapes. And everything else that might come up at a good dinner table.
