The Buda Pancake Picnic will take place again this year from May 15–17 on the promenade next to Allee!
Pancakes are eaten all over the world, with millions of variations from country to country, and everyone—whether child or adult—loves them in some form. We want to celebrate this passion and bring you the best flavors!
Pancakes are a dessert with their own international day! Originally celebrated 46 days before Easter, we’re dedicating a weekend to this delicacy in May—when fresh fruits are in season—between the 15th and 17th!
International flavors, stuffed pancakes, layered pancakes, American pancakes, grandma-style pancakes, fried pancakes, sweet pancakes, savory pancakes, and countless other special flavors await discovery at the event!
We’ve thought of our visitors with food allergies or special dietary needs, and we’ll be serving gluten-free, lactose-free, and vegan pancakes as well!
At the event, you’ll also find waffles, doughnuts, chimney cakes, street food delicacies, a farmers’ market and craft fair, as well as beers, wines, and brandies.
