This programme is held in Hungarian.

For the Programme of the Interdisciplinary Performance Call, the Tutti Cantabile vocal ensemble brings to the House of Music’s Sound Dome a reimagined version of its Four Elements concert series, premiered in 2023, which explores the story of the Persian creation myth by presenting musical works that evoke and mirror the moods of the events of creation. In the Sound Dome, the choir’s music is complemented by visual content, drawing the listener into an extended audiovisual experience in a distinctive way.

Tutti Cantabile’s performance entitled Four Elements is a special, meditative journey following the thread of the Persian creation myth. Through the ancient symbolism of earth, water, fire and air, the concert presents the birth of human existence – simultaneously in music, light and projected images. The Sound Dome’s 360° visual space and 3D sound system create an almost womb-like, intimate experience, where live voices and instruments flow around the audience as a stream of sound. The carefully composed musical arc leads from chaos to order: from noise, sound is born, then harmony, and finally the “fifth element” – the uplifting experience of music and communal singing.

The performance is accompanied by unique animations, symbolic light play, and the visual embodiment of the elements. The imagery, inspired by cave paintings, ancient figures and natural textures, makes the process of creation tangible: from the solidity of earth, through the flow of water and the shaping power of fire, to the invisible lightness of air. Four Elements is not merely a concert – but a sensory-meditative performance that invites you to seek inner harmony, to reconsider your relationship with yourself and with nature, and to embrace cultural openness. Those who enter the Sound Dome step out of everyday life for a good half-hour and become part of an ancient yet profoundly contemporary story. We recommend it to everyone who is open to unique audiovisual experiences, spirituality, the power of choral music and dialogue between cultures.
