A farmers’ and craft market is making its debut under the barn roof at Dürer Kert!
On October 4, we’re bringing the warm, community atmosphere of Platz and the tradition of market-going to Dürer Kert, one of Budapest’s buzzing hubs for music and culture.
Expect a slow Sunday filled with fresh, local produce: seasonal fruit and vegetables, homemade specialties, cheeses, baked goods, additive-free syrups, jams and plenty of other treats from Hungarian producers.
You’ll also find tables by makers and artisans offering unique handmade decorations, ceramics, jewelry, natural cosmetics and more.
Come for the delicacies, discover eco-conscious ideas, and browse plenty of exciting local goods along the way!
Schedule
Drinks will be served at the Dürer bar, while food trucks will take care of lunch. Lángos and pelmeni will add even more to the market-day atmosphere.
- We’re also preparing activities for children, including a play corner and craft workshops for the little ones.
- Entry is free, the venue is dog-friendly, and there are plenty of bike racks available.
After a weekend of concerts and parties at Dürer, wind down with an easy-going Sunday program and spend some time browsing the market with family or friends.

Dürer Kert, which moved from the City Park to the vicinity of Kopaszi Dam, is one of the hangouts of Budapest's surviving peripheral subcultures, but it's also worth visiting if you just want a perfect garden spot. That is, starting in spring. Until then, let's keep rockin'! And after that, too.
