Pettson and Findus
Sven Nordqvist’s Pettson and Findus stories are popular worldwide among preschool and early-primary-school children as well as their parents. The title characters are Pettson, a solitary rural handyman, and his mischievous cat, Findus.

Schedule
Findus—like every child—asks a thousand questions, and if he doesn’t like something, he runs off. Pettson, on the other hand—just like adults—sets rules, sometimes loses his patience, but loves his mischievous cat more than anything.
The playful set, with its colorful, quirky pieces of furniture, evokes both a child’s room and a handyman’s workshop: countless nooks, drawers, and corners from which a cat or two might pop out at any moment.
The simultaneous presentation of both a child’s and an adult’s perspective also allows audiences—parents and children alike—to recognize themselves and one another.
The production was created with the permission of Colombine Teaterförlag and Proscenium Szerzői Ügynökség Kft.
