The first act to take the stage at kis szoba - and the first to arrive at Dürer Kert - is Hocuspony, a band known for their loud, fuzz-heavy garage rock. Formed in 2020, the band members are veterans of the Hungarian guitar music scene. With psychedelic lyrics and music videos, and heavy riffs that at times border on stoner rock, Hocuspony pays homage to bands like King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard, The Oh Sees, or even Kyuss. Of course, their music is much more than just spouting old, tried-and-true phrases; with experimental instrumentation, a healthy dose of the California vibe, and songs drenched in Hungarian lyrics, they always manage to surprise, and it won’t be any different in this small venue!

Dürer Kert, which moved from the City Park to the vicinity of Kopaszi Dam, is one of the hangouts of Budapest's surviving peripheral subcultures, but it's also worth visiting if you just want a perfect garden spot. That is, starting in spring. Until then, let's keep rockin'! And after that, too.
