Bíborka Bocskor’s artistic and personal journey has been shaped from the very beginning by the rich world of Csángó culture. As she puts it: “The Csángó tradition is very mystical, sacred, surreal, and within that, simple—as simple as life unfolding in nature.” But how does this ancient world take shape in the present, and how can all of this be translated into the language of music? On June 4, at the Béla Bartók National Concert Hall, we will find answers to these questions and more.
