Engineers Sound Reggae Party
We’re bringing the Caribbean vibe back to the banks of the Danube! On May 3, join us for a massive open-air reggae party in front of Viadukt Bar. Strictly vinyl sets all night – expect roots reggae, rub-a-dub, and early dancehall from the ’70s up to the present day.

DON CANISTA & TOMA – Engineers Sound – The name Engineers Sound is unavoidable in the Hungarian reggae scene: they’ve played all the major local festivals (Sziget, LB27 Reggae Camp). You can regularly hear them on Tilos Rádió as well as in clubs abroad.
BOTTAH RANKIN MC – The singer-MC began his career in 2009. Naturally, he’ll once again be joining the Engineers Sound crew to set the dancefloor on fire.

This summer, the embankment is free again!
The section of the lower Pest embankment between Chain Bridge and Elisabeth Bridge will be transformed from a traffic route into a relaxing park and temporary community space. A closer connection to the city, the river, and each other.
RAKPART~2026 is realized on behalf of the Municipality of Budapest, in cooperation with the Valyo – City and River Association and the Budapest Cultural Center.
