◉ We’re incredibly excited to kick off our third season on September 11, this time joined by Dead Man’s Chest! We have a number of exciting events and concepts lined up for the 2026/2027 season, including our early-autumn Atno opening, where one of the key figures of the jungle revival will take us on a two-and-a-half-hour journey through its depths and heights.

Dead Man’s Chest’s musical journey has taken a particularly fascinating path over the past twenty years. In the beginning, under his Eveson alias, he quickly earned the trust and respect of Fabio, Goldie, LTJ Bukem, Bryan Gee and the wider scene with his beautiful artwork and soulful drum&bass releases. Around ten years later, however, his attention turned towards the mixtapes of his youth and the party experiences he had across the fields of England. Drawing on those inspirations, paying tribute to the past while keeping an eye on the future, he began releasing a series of incredibly strong jungle EPs, often accompanied by artwork that could easily stand on its own as an artistic statement. His legendary releases on Ingredients Records and Trilogy Dubs became a genuine accelerator for the jungle revival that took shape in the mid-2010s. These records are still heavily played today and remain highly sought-after by DJs.

His music is characterised by a complex and sophisticated take on jungle and jungle techno, where the darkness of true old-school jungle sits comfortably alongside lighter, brighter moments. It’s a sound that feels deeply rooted in the culture while constantly pushing forward, which has made Dead Man’s Chest such a distinctive figure within the contemporary jungle landscape.

The Dead Man’s Chest story has continued to evolve ever since, with his own label Western Lore becoming one of its most important pillars. It’s no exaggeration to say that the label has become a key part of the current jungle ecosystem: every new release attracts huge attention, with records regularly selling out within moments. Response & Pliskin, Sonic, Tim Reaper, Settle Down, Eusebia, Coco Bryce and many other producers dedicated to pushing the sound forward have all released on Western Lore, alongside Dead Man’s Chest’s own productions.

His impact goes beyond producing and design, though: as a curator, he has also developed a highly distinctive musical vision. We’re therefore especially curious to see what kind of journey he’ll take us on with his September selection at Atno. Played through the Rába Sound System, which has been expanded even further (!!) since the Digital party, Dead Man’s Chest’s set is guaranteed to be a memorable experience.

This time, Panka will be officially absent from the RIGHT TIME crew, so Mentalien, Benc and Aikatherina will take care of the decks around DMC, making sure that carefully selected jungle, drum&bass and UK hardcore will be there before and after his set as well.

We’re looking forward to welcoming you all!
